Paying Funds to Non-Spot Users/Accounts

We've been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring you an improved app that truly delivers the most value. This means that some features will be changing. 

If you’re needing physical cash, you can withdraw money from an ATM. Keep in mind that this could cost you fees, but transacting using your app or Mastercard-powered card is absolutely free!

If you’re needing to pay someone that doesn’t have Spot here’s how you can pay them:

1. Get them to download Spot! Paying friends and family is instant & free in the app.

If that doesn’t work, you can add them as a beneficiary. Head’s up, it may take 1-3 business days for the funds to reach the destination bank account.

How to pay a Beneficiary:  

1. Tap Send Money at the bottom centre of your screen.
2. Select Pay a Beneficiary.
3. Select the beneficiary you wish to pay or add a new one by tapping add new beneficiary and filling in the account details.
4. Add the amount and tap Next.
5. Add a category, then tap Next.
6. Choose the account you want to pay from, then tap Next then pay.
7. The amount will be deducted from your account, and you'll get a notification letting you know that your payment was successful.
